How do I determine if I need a "petite" or "average" size wig? Most people wear "average". If in doubt, click here for instructions on how to measure your head. Can the wig be made bigger or smaller to better fit my head? Yes, all wigs can be adjusted to fit your needs, by tightening or loosening the Velcro tabs, located in the back. If your wig is still too large, secure it with bobby pins. Will wearing a wig ruin my natural hair? Wearing a wig will not damage your own hair! Why do I need a wig cap? Some women feel more comfortable wearing a wig cap for security reasons. A wig cap can also be used by those with long hair that needs to be secured back. Can I wear my wig while cooking and using the oven? When cooking, please be sure not to open the oven while wearing your wig. Also, try not to expose the wig to any other heat source, such as a blow dryer, curling iron, clothes dryer, etc.

Permanent Lift A backcombing effect that provides body and fullness to any wig style. Permanent Tease Without adding weight, crimping at the base adds hair volume to any wig style. Reverse Wefting Imitates a more natural look by adding short hairs around your ears and along your natural hairline. Stretch Lace/Lycra Allows the wig to conform to the shape of your head. Therefore, you achieve a more comfortable, secure fit. Thin Wefting Allows better distribution of fibers by adding more wefts with less fiber on each strand, giving the same mobility of a hand tied wig. Velcro Sizing Adjustments Allows you to adjust your wig (at the nape section) up to 1” larger or smaller for a better fit. Velvet Comfort Band A 1” band of velvet is placed on the front perimeter of the wig, providing softness to the head, and preventing friction. A great feature for sensitive scalps.

How do I put on my new wig? The two ear tabs must be centered; the wig should sit right at your natural hairline. It should be worn behind the ears, not over them. Pull the nape of the neck all the way down. Tuck excess hair behind your ears. Always tease the front of the hairline down towards your face and trim bangs if needed. Basically, tease the hairs in the direction you desire. How do I clean my new wig? First, gently pick or comb wig out thoroughly before washing it. Then wet wig completely with cold water, work shampoo in and leave in for 5 minutes. Then, rinse it out with cold water and thoroughly blot dry with a towel. Follow with conditioner; leave it in for 5 minutes, rinse and towel dry. Leave the wig on a towel or wig stand to dry over night at room temperature. Do not comb or brush your wig when it’s wet! When it is completely dry, simply brush into your desired style.
